Daily Cleaning and Inspection
Removing Debris
Operation: After stopping the machine each day, use a brush or compressed air to clean the dust and debris from the roller surface and gaps.
Caution: Avoid using a high-pressure water gun to directly wash the rollers (unless the equipment is waterproof), to prevent water from entering the bearings and causing rust.
Checking Roller Rotation
Method: Manually rotate the rollers to observe whether they rotate smoothly, without jamming or abnormal noise.
Solution: If rotation is not smooth, it may be due to damaged bearings or dirt buildup. Disassembly and cleaning or replacement is required.
Lubrication Management
Bearing Lubrication
Remove the roller end caps and clean away old grease.
Inject high-temperature lithium-based grease (appropriate amount, avoid excessive dust absorption).
Frequency: Every 3-6 months or as recommended in the equipment manual.
Steps:
Tip: Sealed bearings do not require frequent lubrication; replace them directly when damaged.
Transmission Component Lubrication
Chain: Spray with special lubricating oil monthly and adjust the tension to a 2%-4% sag.
Gears/Reducer: Replace or top up lubricating oil (e.g., ISO VG220 gear oil) according to the instruction manual.
Key Component Inspection and Maintenance
Drum Wear Inspection
Observation Points: Surface scratches, dents, coating peeling, or diameter wear exceeding 5%.
Handling: Severely worn rollers must be replaced to prevent conveying skew or damage to goods.
Drive System Maintenance
Adjust tension. Belts with more than 50% cracks must be replaced; chain links with more than 10% wear must be replaced.
Monthly check for temperature rise (not exceeding 60℃), abnormal noise, and vibration.
Change reducer oil annually.
Motor/Reducer:
Belt/Chain:
Structural Secureness
Inspection: Weekly check the frame, brackets, and roller fixing bolts for looseness using a torque wrench.
Handling: Tighten loose parts to the standard torque (refer to the equipment manual).
Safety and Environmental Protection
Safety Device Testing
Monthly test the emergency stop button and protective cover interlock function to ensure immediate shutdown upon triggering.
Environmental Adaptability Measures
Humid Environments: Use stainless steel or galvanized rollers, and apply rust-preventive oil regularly.
High-Temperature Environments: Use high-temperature resistant grease (such as molybdenum disulfide), and check for roller deformation.
Maintenance Plan
Weekly Inspection: Clean, inspect rotation, and fasteners.
Monthly Inspection: Lubricate transmission components and test safety devices.
Annual Inspection: Completely disassemble and inspect bearings, replace worn parts, and calibrate the conveyor line's level.
Operating Procedures and Training
Training Content:
Overloading is prohibited (e.g., exceeding the roller's load capacity by 10%).
Avoid direct impact from sharp objects onto the rollers.
Abnormal shutdown procedures (e.g., report abnormal noises or jamming immediately).
